Happy Thursday!! Baked glass anyone?!?
I’m curing the paint on a group of glass items so they can go to the market this weekend. Glass for margaritas, martinis and luminaries are what you see through the oven window above. It usually takes 4-5 hours to complete a baked cure. Why so long you ask? The glass must go in cold and come out cold. It’s amazing how long the heat can remain in a piece of glass. I like working with thick, heavy glass pieces so that lengthens the cooling time as well.
That’s it for now.
Blessings to you,
