Wisdom from Dogs and Birds

Hanging on the wall in the upstairs landing is a poster print that we have had in our home for….well, I don’t know how long. Suffice it to say that it’s a well-traveled print!  This print has no significant value (as far as I know)  to the rest of the world , but it does have a great deal of meaning to our family.  The print is of “Peanuts” characters Snoopy and Woodstock jumping into a pile of fall leaves with this statement written above them “We love the simple things in life!”
Wisdom from Dogs and Birds:
  • Wag more, bark less.
  • Tweet when you are happy.
  • Warble for joy.
  •  Always be there when someone needs to scratch you behind the ears.
  • Get enough rest.
  • Build a nest that will weather stormy days.
  • Sit on the foot of someone you love.
  • Be excited about “air”.
Actions speak so much louder than words, don’t they?
Well, enough rambling.  It’s been very busy here at 57 Artifacts.  We’re working hard to get the Etsy shop filled up with product.  We have a trade show that gets about 20+ thousand folks coming through it that we are preparing for in June.  A shipment of clay pots is due in this week and the shop is getting reorganized and setup for the shift to holiday item production in another month.  It’s wild, it’s crazy, we’re having a great time!!!!!!
Stop in again soon and see what we’re up to!!!!
